How did you spend your February 14th?

With co-photographers Hunter & Tony, I had the most fun working with Bridget's (a friend) after school class at Lauren Hill. The young ladies were awarded photo sessions for their Next Top Model project and they enlisted the young gentlemen to be their male models.

When Bridget told me there were two aspiring photographers in the class I quickly enlisted them on my photo team and as the girls picked their poses Hunter, Tony (aka Tony Tone) & I took pictures of the fun session.

I truly enjoyed the photo session and having awesome talented co-photographers was icing on the cake. We hope you enjoy our collective work.

Apparently there's never a shortage of naming ceremonies in our community and I'm always ecstatic to photograph happy families with happy babies.

This time though, I was wondering what the new baby's peers thought of the whole ceremony and his/her arrival. Go ahead, you may leave alternate captions for each picture in the comment box, trust me its fun!

I did my first 'family call' in-house photo session last weekend. An old friend had triplets and I was asked to come by for a photo session.



Besides finding my little model muse, I got a chance to capture my first set of triplets ever! The boys all looked in their dad's direction as if to ask: "Louis, what you talmbout?"

Here's one of my favorite pictures from the Kid's Christmas party my family helps put on every year. And yes, that's my mom all excited cos the young girl won a hoola-hoop competition. And I thought I was intense, pah.

This picture reminded me of Eric Benet's video 'You're the only one' with his daughter, India. To all the responsible dads out there who treat their daughters like princesses.

As I was editing pictures from a wedding I recently covered in Gainesville, I realized that I was proving my previous theory on kids being best dressed at these events, right. Who could pass on sharing such a pretty smile with the world? I know I couldn't.

Weddings are wonderful, joyous occasions and mark the commencement of a new, hopefully wonderful life together of a married couple. There are usually good food and decent music but more importantly, very well dressed kids.

I had the chance to cover my first wedding with my dad last weekend. I felt a little more relaxed knowing that I had the flexibility to take pictures other than those of the bride & groom as his pictures would count as well. Very few can argue how photogenic kids are, much less smiling kids in wedding attire.

You know that song, ♪ who dat is? that aint my baby daddy ♪ came to mind when I took this picture. It is a cool sight to see guys take care of little kids. Even though Zion isn't Harvard's, this is still one of my all time favorite picture moments.
